Support your employees
Financial literacy and managing money can be overwhelming – for everyone, regardless of position, education and income. For some people that stress begins to impact every aspect of their lives from their jobs, relationships and physical and mental health.
Over three hours per week, or 19.5 days annually, is the average time that financially stressed employees spend distracted by personal money matters.1
Financial stress can affect your employees at any time, resulting in depression, reduced job productivity and disengagement. The good news is that the State of North Dakota has a trusted resource called Smart with My Money that can help—and it costs you nothing to use and share with your team!
Your employees are looking to you to provide trusted financial guidance and resources. Employers that offer financial wellness resources for their employees report that it helps to:2
- Boost job satisfaction
- Improve productivity
- Attract top talent
- Enhance their reputation as a great place to work
