Summary of Work
As the Loan Portfolio Administrator, you will support Business Bankers through the analysis and review of new loan requests and the ongoing maintenance of assigned loan portfolios. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information, assisting with loan structuring, and supporting the overall credit approval and servicing process. You will work closely with Business Bankers, Business Banking Associates, Loan Servicing Associates, Credit Analysts, and financial institution partners to help ensure loan requests align with program guidelines, meet borrower financing needs, and minimize risk to the Bank.
In this role, you will analyze financial statements, cash flows, ratios, and other credit information to evaluate borrower creditworthiness and support lending decisions. You will assist with structuring agriculture and commercial loan requests, preparing credit presentations, reviewing annual loan reviews, and monitoring portfolio performance. Responsibilities also include reviewing loan files for documentation deficiencies, maintaining delinquency and problem loan records, and assisting with modifications, renewals, and workout strategies for existing credits.
You will also play an important role in maintaining strong service and communication with internal teams and external lending partners. This position will serve as a contact for financial institutions regarding service-related matters, loan information requests, and portfolio maintenance activities. The Portfolio Administrator may also assist with loan funding approvals and support resolution efforts related to delinquent or higher-risk credits.

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting, banking and finance, business administration, economics, or a related field and a minimum of three years of experience in a financial institution within commercial lending, agricultural lending, credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related area. Additional years of related experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Candidates must possess competencies in loan structuring, credit analysis, financial trend analysis, determining creditworthiness, client relationship management, and prioritizing multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy in high-value transactions.
