Summary of Work
Process Improvement and Review:
- Learn day-to-day retail and customer service processes.
- Review daily retail and customer service documentation and reports, including account openings, account maintenance, and account coding.
- Review updates and maintain procedures for products and services including account opening, ATM cards, mobile banking, and mobile deposit.
- Research and lead initiatives to implement new and/or enhance current products, services, and processes, including branch modernization.
- Attend ongoing trainings to broaden knowledge of core banking system features and modules.
- Attend Business Analytics trainings to create and/or update reports for ongoing maintenance, year-end tax reporting, audit requests, and other business needs as requested.
- Participate in core banking system and process user groups.
Retail & Customer Service Support:
- Provide coverage for the teller line and front desk on a regular basis.
- Provide advanced support for customers and staff in relation to account openings and maintenance.
- Report suspicious transactions, activities and situations to appropriate personnel and complete appropriate reports.
- Adhere to federal banking regulations and bank policies including security, cash handling and check cashing.
This position must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities based on changing business needs. They must be self-starting, motivated, detail orientated, and possess strong interpersonal skills to work well with many teams and will be encouraged to identify efficiencies with existing and future bank services.
This position will work 40 hours a week. Work week schedule is on site Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires an associate degree in finance, business, or a closely related field of study and five years of work experience in lead teller, personal banker, or universal banker responsibilities. Additional work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Fiserv Premier core banking system and deposit account modules.
- Experience with consumer and business account opening processes and systems.
- Proven capability to implement process changes and create procedures.
