Summary of Work
Responsibilities include Talent Acquisition:
- Assist managers in updating and creating job descriptions.
- Create and publish job postings and internal interest forms.
- Provide recommendations on recruiting methods used.
- Assist managers with initial screening of applications, interviews, and salary proposals.
- Administrator role in PeopleSoft module- Recruiting Solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Administrative Rules and regulations for recruitment and selection (Veteran’s Preference/EEO Practices).
- Conduct criminal history and credit reviews for each new hire.
- Prepare digital onboard sections and paperwork for orientations and schedule orientation.
- Administer the New Hire Advisor Program.
- Maintain updated data regarding FTE pool and turnover data.
- Attend recruiting events and build relationships with colleges.
- Facilitate exit interviews.
- Conduct FLSA reviews to ensure compliance and process any changes to designations.
- Member of the State of ND Talent Acquisition Community of Practice Committee.
Learning & Development:
- Assist in planning, developing, facilitating, and evaluating BND Manager Development and BND Emerging Leaders program.
- Facilitate an informal mentoring program at BND by matching mentors and mentees and provide guidance regarding resources for structuring the program.
- Develop, edit, enroll, and track all annual required training.
- Administrator role in PeopleSoft – ELM module and OnCourse Learning Management System.
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of the All-Employee Events.
- Administrator role in Predictive Index.
- Assist managers and employees in development and execution of individual development plans.
- Facilitate monthly manager meetings.
- Member of Team ND CoP – Learning & Development.
Performance Management:
- Administrator role in PeopleSoft – ePerformance module
- Administrator role in PeopleSoft- JDQ module
- Educate and assist employees and managers in performance management process.
- Track progress and completion of performance documents for all employees
Additional Duties:
- Administer Gallup Employee Engagement Survey and develop and execute action planning process.
- Member of BND Loss Control Committee.
- Review monthly payroll for accuracy and provide backup for payroll and benefit duties.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business or public administration, management, industrial relations, or a closely related field and four years HR work experience. A master’s degree may substitute for one year of the HR work experience requirement.
Ability to solve problems, analyze information and resolve conflict.
Possess strong facilitation skills to include training new hires and managers, organizing events, presenting a persuasive argument, managing conflicts, and brainstorming new ideas.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to listen, build rapport and credibility with others.
Preferred Qualifications
Human Resources Certification – SHRM-SCP, SCHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR certification.
Proficiency administering PeopleSoft HRIS modules.
Experience building web-based learning course using Articulate Storyline 360.
