Summary of Work

The Loan Servicing Associate II position performs a variety of skilled administrative duties related to the review of commercial and agriculture loan documents, boarding of commercial and agriculture loans and on-going servicing of the loan portfolio. They are responsible for performing pre-closing and post-closing tasks for all participation loans utilizing an expanded level of commercial loan documentation and collateral documentation knowledge. The selected candidate will review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy and will examine collateral documents to ensure correct lien position. They will prepare loan boarding sheets and setup loans in core banking system. This position will be responsible for verifying loan files are organized for post-closing activities, ensure tracking items are updated, review core system loan setup and research discrepancies. The selected candidate will work closely with BND Business Banking Associates and BND Business Bankers ensuring loans are funded timely while also fostering partnerships with lead financial institutions through positive interactions.

The desired candidate must have the ability to work on multiple loan files simultaneously. They must be able to adjust priorities to changing circumstances and maintain quality in a fast-paced atmosphere. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive interaction with others, internal and external, and requires influencing and training others.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires an associate degree in finance or business and a minimum of 18 months’ experience in commercial, agriculture or real estate loan documentation, loan operations or lending. Additional work experience may substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.
