Education Market Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary of Work
This position will play a lead role in the collection, storage and report writing for BND’s Education Market. Bank of North Dakota (BND) plays an important role in education and post-secondary training for North Dakotans. BND’s Education Market Programs range from college saving, career planning, financial literacy, college planning, scholarships, and student loans. BND’s continued success comes from its ability to be agile and adjust programs to meet the ever-changing needs in North Dakota’s workforce and education landscape. This is accomplished by compiling, understanding and analyzing data.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Education Market Business Intelligence Analyst position will be responsible to work with the education market leadership team and staff to help facilitate data driven decisions, inspire curiosity through data, energize collaboration through reports and identify areas for research.
Tasks will vary based on business research and reporting needs. Tasks include, but are not limited to, data management, data mining, forecasting, predictive modeling, research, business writing, strategic planning, coaching and others. The successful applicant will bring technical expertise to ensure that data can be gathered accurately and efficiently. They will have the ability to design and present data in ways to help the education market and the Bank make sound decisions and find efficiencies. Duties may also include backing up staff with other education market duties.

A bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, computer or management information systems, project management, business administration, statistics or a field closely related to those listed and three years of work experience involving business analysis activities such as requirements planning and management, elicitation, documentation, solution assessment, etc. Additional work experience as described may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
